IBN

Students: S. Tronci, P. Dajbych
Tutor: W. Hilhorst

In this project, students developed a new spatial concept for two IBN locations in Veghel and Cuijk. The assignment focused on exploring how existing work environments could be adapted to better support inclusivity and wellbeing.

Through site visits and spatial analysis, the students examined how the buildings currently function and how they might better reflect IBN’s social mission. Based on this research, the project proposes a series of architectural interventions aimed at strengthening spatial clarity, improving connections between different parts of the buildings, and creating more supportive environments for employees and visitors.

The final proposals introduce shared spaces, clearer internal organization, and a stronger relationship between working and meeting. Together, the two designs show how targeted spatial changes can help existing buildings respond to changing needs while creating a more open, welcoming and future-oriented identity.
